Emergency First Response for Adult and or for Children and Infants. We provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First & Second Aid training using Emergency First Response (EFR) programs. EFR training focuses on building confidence in lay rescuers and increasing their willingness to respond when faced with a medical emergency. You'll learn to follow the same steps for emergency care as medical emergency professionals and practise applying skills in a non-stressful learning environment. You'll learn the skills through a combination of knowledge development, skills development and realistic scenario practice. The courses are supported with high quality videos and manuals, but the focus in all EFR courses is very much on hands-on practice. - EFR Primary Care (CPR) course teaches you to deal with emergencies that are immediately life-threatening. You’ll learn to how to perform CPR and continue to monitor the patient, so that you provide every possible chance of survival while waiting for emergency medical services to arrive. - The skills you learn: Scene Assessment Barrier Use Primary Assessment Chest Compressions CPR - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (chest compressions & artificial respiration) Serious bleeding management Shock management Spinal injury management Helping a choking adult - EFR Secondary Care (First Aid) course teaches you to treat injuries and illnesses that are not immediately life-threatening. You learn how to ease pain and reduce the risk of further harm in case emergency medical services are delayed or unavailable. - The skills you learn: Injury Assessment Splinting for Dislocations and Fractures Bandaging Illness Assessment - AED (Automated External Defibrillator) You will learn how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Current AEDs are easy to use, and are nowadays available in many places. - No Prerequisites - Course Structure 7-8 hours in a classroom, as a one day program. - Combined Standard EFR Course (Adult/Children + First and Second Aid + CPR + AED) €200 Course fee includes professional instruction, course manual and certification fee.
